Conversa forged a relationship between Pfizer and Navarro Discount Pharmacies by concentrating on the promotion of Florida KidCare, a statewide program that offers free health care to low-income families.

Conversa coordinated family health fair events within the community through radio and television to highlight the program and its availability while concurrently promoting the partnership between Pfizer and Navarro.

Four events were coordinated and executed, successfully drawing more than 1,000 attendees each.

Voto Latino, a nonpartisan organization seeking to
encourage Latino Millennials to make their voices heard in elections.

Conversa was to help organize a Miami conference featuring actor Wilmer Valderrama and co-founder/actress Rosario Dawson that would mobilize the Latino youth population to register and participate in the 2012 Presidential election.

Solution: Conversa executed a comprehensive plan for the conference to ensure that Voto Latino’s message reached and engaged students directly. A significant factor in achieving these goals was to ensure fund-raising goals were met. Fundraising dollars ensured students could attend the event at the Florida International University and the Biltmore Hotel in Miami, sites Conversa selected for the conference.

Enough sponsorship dollars were raised to cover transportation and housing for all of Voto Latino’s attendees, exceeding the venue’s original projected capacity. Conversa was also present on the day of the event, helping manage the conference for Voto Latino and ensuring its success.

Client sought assistance with outreach efforts towards
minority communities within the Hillsborough County school district.

Solution: Conversa identified that few families within the school district were aware of programs offering potential educational assistance to their children. Many of these minority households were unable to access information about the assistance programs due to language barriers or limited web access.

Through a concerted outreach effort, Conversa raised awareness of the programs among Latino, Asian, African-American, and Caribbean communities by creating speaking engagements and round-table discussions. Staging face-to-face outreach events within educational venues such as libraries and schools, Conversa aided the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in educating communities about Florida Higher Standards and how it impacts children.

Client sought to implement a media campaign within
the Tampa Bay area focused on the shift from Common Core educational standards to Florida Higher Standards.

Solution: Conversa identified media opportunities and coordinated a series of outreach events aimed at spreading information about the shift.

Over a six-week period, community events with approximately 50-100 attendees each were organized and hosted. Several established events within the area were identified as cross-promotional opportunities.
